Background

The way Christopher sees and describes the world and things is very interesting and lovely. He explains all of these things in a funny and easy way, although they are very difficult and hard to understand.
This is because he is suffering from Asperger’s syndrome and therefore has no feelings and can’t show emotions; because of this the boy thinks factually and logically.
We liked the book very much for that because the real story is very simple.
The reason for the book’s success is that Mark Haddon’s story is aimed at both children and adults.
